Data Deletion
Effective Date: June 4, 2026
At Floating Point Applications, we believe you should have complete control over your data. This page explains exactly what data our Apps store, where it is stored, and how you can delete it — permanently and at any time.
Our Architecture: All Floating Point Applications apps use a local-first architecture. Your data is stored exclusively on your device — it is never uploaded to, collected by, or stored on our servers. This means you already have full, direct control over all of your data at all times.
1. What Data Is Stored
The following table summarizes the data associated with each of our Apps, where it is stored, and whether we can access it:
| App | Data Stored | Storage Location | Accessible by Us? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fold | Bet logs, odds entries, bankroll history | Your device only | No |
| Stashly | Fabric catalogs, patterns, notions, images | Your device only | No |
| Device Finder | Bluetooth scan results (in-memory only) | Device memory (not persisted) | No |
| All Apps | Anonymous crash reports (if opted in) | Third-party crash reporting service | Anonymized only |
| Fold, Device Finder | On-device AI model files (Google Gemma 4 e4b) | Your device only | No — removed on uninstall or clear data |
2. How to Delete Your Data
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it yourself at any time using any of the three methods below. No request to us is required.
Method 1: Delete Data Within the App
Each of our Apps provides in-app options to manage and delete your data:
Delete Bet Logs & Bankroll Data
- Open the Fold app
- Navigate to Settings or History
- Use the Delete or Clear All Data option to remove individual entries or all data
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete Catalog & Inventory Data
- Open the Stashly app
- Navigate to Settings
- Use the Delete All Data or Reset App option to remove your entire catalog
- Alternatively, delete individual items directly from the catalog view
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
This action is permanent. Any photos associated with catalog entries will also be removed.
Bluetooth Scan Data
- Device Finder stores scan results only in active memory during use
- Scan data is automatically cleared when you close the app
- No persistent data is written to your device's storage
No manual deletion is required for Device Finder — data does not persist.
Method 2: Clear App Data Through Device Settings
You can clear all data for any of our Apps through your device's system settings. This removes all locally stored data including databases, preferences, cache, and any saved images.
Open your device's Settings
Navigate to your device's main Settings app.
Navigate to Apps
Tap Apps or Apps & notifications (varies by device manufacturer).
Select the App
Find and tap the Floating Point app you want to clear (Fold, Stashly, or Device Finder).
Clear Storage & Cache
Tap Storage & cache, then tap Clear storage (or Clear data). Confirm when prompted.
Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Storage & cache → Clear storage
⚠ Important: Clearing storage removes ALL app data permanently, including any entries, catalogs, images, and preferences. This action cannot be undone. Make sure you have backed up any data you wish to keep before proceeding.
Method 3: Uninstall the App
Uninstalling any of our Apps from your device will permanently delete all data associated with that App. No residual data will remain on your device after uninstallation.
Long-press the app icon on your home screen or app drawer
Select "Uninstall" and confirm
Alternatively, navigate to Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Uninstall.
3. Deleting Crash Report & Analytics Data
If you previously opted in to anonymous crash reporting or usage analytics, we may have received anonymized diagnostic data through our third-party service providers. While this data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you, you have the right to request its deletion.
How to Opt Out of Future Data Collection
- Open the relevant App
- Navigate to Settings
- Disable the Crash Reporting or Analytics toggle
- No further data will be transmitted from that point forward
How to Request Deletion of Previously Collected Data
To request deletion of any anonymous crash report or analytics data that may have been previously transmitted, send an email to support@floatingpointapps.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The App(s) you used (Fold, Stashly, and/or Device Finder)
- Your approximate timeframe of use
- Your device model (optional, helps us locate records)
We will process your request within forty-five (45) days and send you written confirmation once deletion is complete.
4. What Happens When You Delete Your Data

5. Data We Do Not Retain
Because our Apps do not require account creation and use a local-first architecture, we do not retain any of the following on our servers:
- User accounts, usernames, passwords, or authentication tokens
- Personal information (names, email addresses, phone numbers)
- Financial data or payment information
- Location history or GPS coordinates
- Bluetooth device identifiers
- Photos, images, or media files
- Advertising identifiers or tracking data
Since we do not possess this data, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. Your data lives on your device and is fully under your control.
6. Subscriptions & Purchases
If you have any active in-app purchases or subscriptions associated with our Apps through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, please note that:
- Deleting app data or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.
- You must cancel subscriptions separately through your app store account.
To manage your subscriptions:
- Google Play: Open the Google Play app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Apple App Store: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions
7. Your Rights
Under applicable privacy laws (including CCPA, GDPR, and other state and international regulations), you have the right to:
- Right to Deletion / Erasure: Request the deletion of any personal data we hold about you. As detailed above, our local-first architecture means you can exercise this right directly, without needing to contact us.
- Right to Know: Request information about what data we collect and how we use it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising your data deletion rights. Deleting your data will not affect your ability to download, install, or use our Apps.
