Account & Data Deletion Request

Stashly provides full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated cloud data directly from within the app, or submit an email deletion request below.

Method 1: In-App Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)

1 Open the Stashly app and navigate to Settings.
2 Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
3 Confirm when prompted by re-authenticating if required.

This immediately and permanently deletes your local Room database, all cloud Firestore records under your UID (fabrics, patterns, notions, projects, notes), and your authentication credentials.

Method 2: Email Deletion Request

If you no longer have access to the Stashly app or device, you can request account deletion via email:

Email Request Details:

• Send to: support@floatingpointapps.com

• Subject line: Stashly Account Deletion Request

• Requirement: Must be sent from the email address registered with your Stashly account.

We will permanently remove all cloud Firestore records and authentication credentials within 30 days of receiving your request and confirm completion in writing.

What data is deleted vs retained

Deleted: Account email, authentication credentials, fabric stash records, pattern library entries, notions inventory, active sewing projects, personal notes, and prices.

Retained: Anonymous, non-personal commercial pattern specifications (brand, pattern number, title) contributed to the shared community barcode catalog remain available to support barcode lookups for other sewists.
